Emmy 2017, la lista completa delle nomination

Un anno di serie tv particolarmente intenso, tanto che già a vedere la shortlist dei nominati sarebbe difficile decretare un vincitore assoluto. Sono state rese note le nomination agli Emmy 2017, ci sono quasi tutte le serie tv più chiacchierate dell’anno.

“Stranger things” e “Westworld” sono state le due serie fenomeno senza alcun dubbio, diciamo che ci sono quasi tutte perché tra i “fenomeni” ne manca una. Clamorosamente “Tredici” è stata fatta fuori. Se posso aggiungere un parere personale, la cosa non mi stupisce affatto: la trama ha numerose falle e il cast è pessimo se confrontato al lavoro che c’è dietro “Stranger Things”, “The Handmaid’s Tale” o la più recente “GLOW” (che non rientra tra i nominati perché appena uscita), dove non solo la sceneggiatura è ben elaborata, ma gli attori sanno recitare (incredibile). Non manca “This is us“, serie che ci ha stupiti in positivo, strappalacrime ma sempre al punto giusto, anche in questo caso con un cast eccezionale all’opera. C’è spazio per “Feud: Bette and Joan“, che vede Susan Sarandon e Jessica Lange contendersi il premio come miglior attrice protagonista in una miniserie o film. Se lo contendono, però, anche Nicole Kidman e Reese Witherspoon per “Big Little Lies“, entrambe magnifiche. La controparte maschile vede due attori di “Feud“, Alfred Molina e Stanley Tucci e due di “The Night of“, Michael K. Williams e Bill Camp, insieme a loro ci sono David Thewlis di “Fargo” e Alexander Skarsgard, “Big Little Lies” della HBO. E a proposito, il network ha ottenuto un totale di 110 nomination nonostante l’assenza del pezzo forte “Game of Thrones“, che ha visto slittare la sua data d’uscita (e manca pochissimo alla messa in onda).

La 69esima edizione dei Primetime Emmy Awards, i riconoscimenti che annualmente premiano le eccellenze del mondo televisivo americano, si terrà il 27 settembre al Microsoft Theatre di Los Angeles. Sarà condotta dal vincitore di ben nove Emmy Steven Colbert, qui di seguito la lista completa dei nominati.
