Nominations agli Oscar 2011: Il discorso del Re e Il grinta fanno il pieno

Sono finalmente uscite le nominations per gli attesi Oscar 2011. La cerimonia di premiazione si terrà il prossimo 27 febbraio e sarà condotta da Anne Hathaway e James Franco, che oltre a condurre è anche nominato come miglior attore protagonista per “127 Hours“. A fare il pieno di nominations (e molto probabilmente lo farà anche di premi) è l’apprezzatissimo “Il discorso del re“, che arriverà nelle nostre sale proprio questo fine settimana. Sono ben 12 le categorie in cui rientra il film, che aveva suscitato parecchia curiosità soprattutto dopo i consensi riscontrati al Toronto Film Festival. Tuttavia non è da meno “Il Grinta“, infatti il film dei fratelli Coen ha ottenuto ben dieci nominations, si prospetta una bella lotta. Nel film troviamo Jeff Bridges, che l’anno scorso si aggiudicò l’Oscar come migliore attore per “Crazy Heart” e quest’anno potrebbe fare il bis per “True Grit” (titolo originale). Ma ce la farà davvero? Fino ad ora ci sono riusciti solo in due: Spencer Tracy (Capitani Coraggiosi, La città dei ragazzi) e Tom Hanks (Philadelphia, Forrest Gump), per cui, visto che non c’è due senza tre, potrebbe essere proprio Bridges il fortunato. Se “Il Grinta” dovesse vincere il premio come miglior film, invece, sarebbe il quarto western in tutta la storia degli Oscar ad aggiudicarselo (dopo Cimarron, Balla coi lupi, Gli spietati).

Tra i candidati che hanno ottenuto più nominations troviamo anche “The Social Network” di David Fincher. Il giovane protagonista, Jesse Eisenberg, che interpreta Mark Zuckerberg, dovesse vincere la statuetta come miglior attore, allora sarebbe il più giovane premiato per quanto riguarda la categoria, insieme a Jennifer Lawrence. Inoltre, sia per “The Social Network” che per “Il Grinta” troviamo il produttore Scott Rudin, si tratta di un evento decisamente straordinario! A pari merito con “The Social Network” troviamo “Inception“, il kolossal di Christopher Nolan che rientra tra i film più amati del 2010, ma Nolan non risulta tra i nominati per la miglior regia. Tra le altre pellicole più nominate troviamo anche “Cigno Nero” (con 5 nominations) e “Toy Story 3” (che segna la ventesima nomination per il compositore Randy Newman), ma anche “I ragazzi stanno bene” e “Winter’s Bone“.
