THE MUPPETS 5Appuntatevi questa data: 4 gennaio 2012, perché i Muppet stanno per tornare al cinema con, appunto, “I Muppet“, di cui oggi vi mostriamo il trailer italiano ed anche qualche immagine. Nel cast del film troveremo i conosciutissimi pupazzi: Kermit la Rana, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo, Animal e poi gli attori in carne ed ossa, da Jason Segel a Amy Adams. A voi la sinossi:
In vacanza a Los Angeles con i suoi amici Gary (JASON SEGEL) e Mary (AMY ADAMS) da Smalltown, Walter, il più grande fan dei Muppet, scopre il malvagio piano del petroliere Tex Richman (CHRIS COOPER) di radere al suolo il teatro dei Muppet per scavare nel suo sottosuolo e recuperare il petrolio scoperto di recente. Per mettere in piedi il più grande Muppet Telethon di sempre e raccogliere i 10 milioni di dollari necessari per salvare il teatro, Walter, Mary e Gary aiutano Kermit a riunire i Muppet, che hanno intrapreso strade diverse: Fozzie ora si esibisce a Reno in una band tributo chiamata Moopets, Miss Piggy è una redattrice di moda di Vogue Parigi, Animal è a Santa Monica in una clinica per manager infuriati e Gonzo è un potente magnate di impianti idraulici.
I Muppets sono stati creati da Jim Henson ed hanno da subito riscosso grande successo sia sulla tv che sul grande schermo, tanto che hanno un programma tutto loro dove ospitano grandi personaggi, “Sesame Street”. L’ultimo film sui pupazzi risale al 2005, ma finalmente James Bobin ha deciso di creare una nuova storia tutta per loro, intanto date un’occhiata alle prime immagini e al trailer, buona visione!
